Crusades

Open-Air Crusades Life World Outreach is committed to reaching this dying world, to go where others have not gone and show them that Jesus is their Saviour.

According to the CIA World Factbook (www.cia.gov) South Africa’s life expectancy is 49.3 years old and is listed as one of the 7th lowest in the world. Our death rate has been ranked third highest in the world, behind the countries of Angola and war torn Afghanistan.

Many of our people are still living below the poverty line! Informal settlements are where people live where amenities are limited. Some with no electricity, running water or even sewage. Homes are simple dwellings made from tin, wood or brick. Children are left to run in the streets and fend for themselves. Clinics are few, overcrowded and disease and sickness is rampant. Personal safety is of primary concern as many people fear they will fall victim to violent crime if they leave their shacks.

OUR MISSION:

Mark 16:15-18 “And He said to them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

Mark 16:19-20 “So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” (NKJ)

We have seen thousands of people responding to the gospel and accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Open-air events attract large numbers of people who might never set foot in a church service. We have a saying: “when fishing, use bait that the fish like, not what you like”. With this in mind, we like to make our events appealing and fun to the ordinary man on the street. We use music and simple illustrations to share the love of Jesus and keep our preaching, with an interpreter, easy to understand. As God confirms His Word with signs and wonders, we stand amazed as the message of Christ’s completed work and His unfailing love touches and changes many lives.

L1 Jn 4:14 (KJV) “And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.”
